Horticultural Organizations

Northwest Horticultural Society

NHS provides a forum for gardeners and plant lovers in the Pacific Northwest to share their interests and learn about horticulture. Here’s where you’ll be inspired and educated through an ongoing series of lectures, symposiums, workshops and classes. Meet other great gardeners, learn about the latest plant introductions and hear from some of the garden world’s most notable speakers.

Northwest Perennial Alliance

NPA is dedicated to the use of perennials in Pacific Northwest gardens. Through lectures, garden tours, classes and special events, members can dive deeply into the subject of gardening with perennials. NPA has created and continues to maintain one of the premier perennial gardens in the U.S. The NPA Borders at the Bellevue Botanical Garden are 22,000-square-feet of fantastic perennials and companion plants for our region.

Hardy Plant Society of Oregon

The Hardy Plant Society of Oregon, also known as HPSO, serves gardeners of all levels – beginning through experienced and amateur through professional. HPSO’s focus is on hardy herbaceous perennial plants in the PNW, but its programs and events extend to all kinds of gardening.
